Drawings

I was first taught to draw professionally with a Rotring pen in a drawing office, then came various CAD systems. Shortly after that as a mature architecture student at the AA I took life drawing classes, where I was introduced to charcoal and supersoft 9B pencils. It was here that I developed that fondness that architects have for drawing an elegant yet slighlty wibbly line (they do it by holding the pencil a long way up).

My publisher kindly asked me if I’d like to illustrate Five Fat Hens, of course I said “yes”. Since then, I’ve been drawing mostly for pleasure.

Occasionally I have drawings for sale.
